Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated, although I have to say that compared to what Alex Gorbatchev has done with SyntaxHighlighter - this is pretty basic basic plugin. :-)

I am also interested in a new version that supports v2.0 of the syntax highlighter.

Excellent plug-in.
Unfortunately it seems that there is a change in the latest version of SyntaxHighlighter that prevents it from working with Precode.
I had to manually add "brush: " before c# (so that I will have <pre class="brush: c#" name="code">) to make it work.
Am I missing some option that must be set to solve this?
Or is there a new version of Precode coming soon to solve this?

your plugin looks great!!

I created one, that doesn't looks nice, but has editable code (SmartContent). It uses two different representations within livewriter (some C# formatting library) and for publication (wordpress.com).

Interested in merging those two?

I could also imagine adding a "Wordpress"-mode that surrounds the code with wordpress-makro [sourcecode language="c#"], also using Syntax-Hightlighter, as well as a XHTML-complient one, that uses my jQuery Plugin that also wraps Alex' highlighter:
