Windows 8 just ships with .NET 4, it'd be nice to have a .NET 4 installer.

PreCode is a really nice util. Can't live without, but somehow, it takes a while to launch.

Just wanted to agree. I'm using Live writer 2011, syntax highlighter 3.0.83 without issue.

I was pretty sure the MSI installer was built to perform the upgrade (without having to uninstall first). I'll double check.

It would be nice for the MSI installer to detect previous installed versions and uninstall them first before it installs the new version.

This way there is no chance of weird issues being caused by upgrades.

This is based on upgrading from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 which did not do that.

I am using 5.0.1 with SyntaxHighlighter 3 and it is working just fine. I believe the options (toolbar, gutter etc...) have changed but since I use the default I can't confirm that.

When I installed Live Writer 2011, the plugin has disappeared from the list of plugins in Live Writer. Is it supported / going to be supported?

OliIsCool has uploaded a patch.

Description:
Parameterizes the project's OutputType for easy generation of both ClassLibrary and WinExe targets with the same project.

This would allow you to modify/enhance the "build-app" target of your NAnt script with the following parameter:

<arg value="/p:OutputType=WinExe" />

...and then you could compile the ClassLibrary, as you currently do, copy it somewhere (because the next compile will wipe out that folder) and then compile the WinExe version, copy THAT binary next to the first one and finally build your installer without having to do whatever fancy dance you currently do to generate (and check-in/commit!?) PreCode.exe in /lib
